Different to a baby shower where the focus is on the baby, a mama blessing ceremony is all about honouring YOU, the mama-to-be or new mama.
Many traditional cultures around the world honour a woman’s sacred transition through birth and into motherhood with meaningful rituals and ceremonies. This is what I will bring to you – a beautiful recognition of the divine feminine journey you are embarking on.
The ceremony is customisable to your requirements and can either be held as a Mama-to-be Blessing or a New Mama Blessing.
This may include:
- hand and feet massage/bathing
- meditation
- red thread tying
- readings
- sage or water smudging
- bead threading
- drumming
- affirmation flag making
- Closing of the first 40 days postpartum ritual
- sacred circle setup including crystals, candles, flowers, essential oils, tarot cards etc.
